Central Park Conservancy

July 15, 2011

This morning I went running aroud the Jackie Onassis Reservoir in New York City and noticed an unusually large number of fields closed off for seeding and beautification.  This is not the first day I noticed so many fields closed off by the Central Park Conservancy.  The East 97th Street field where Super Soccer Stars used to have a class is closed as is the small field adjacent to The Metropolitan Museum of Art.  There are tons of people working in Central Park (you can see them with their green shirts) planting flowers, clipping shrubs and cleaning up the park.

Maintenance of Central Park is an ongoing process and we will have some gorgeous fields to enjoy when they re-open.

Have you noticed all the Central Park Conservancy green shirts recently?
